While many say it is better to be lucky than good, no one is lucky every time. In this post I am going to attempt to provide some insight into street encounters. Other may have different viewpoints. I am not here to argue. I will say some of the comments I have seen posted in the threads about this sort of matter make me realize that while some ARFCOMMERS are clearly street veterans others are not. This is really for those who are not.

CC Permit Holder Defends Internet Cafe From Armed Robbers

Watch the video.  I don’t know how he was feeling on the inside, but he reacted swiftly and calmly, and his shots were true.  Good guys are safe, bad guys have holes in them- that’s how it should be.

“I think he is wonderful. If he wouldn’t have been there, there could have been some innocent people shot,” said Mary Beach.

Vet Arrested for “Unregistered Ammunition” in DC

Disgusting.  At least DC law’s have made it such a safe place, right?  Wait…

On Sept. 19, 2011, Spc. Meckler was arrested at the VFW when building security found 14 loose 9mm rounds in his backpack. Federal police officers put him in steel handcuffs and detained him. After being read his rights, the Army medic was led out of the federal building — which was on lockdown since the ammunition was found — and into a truck which he recalled said “Homeland Security” on the side.
